Haven't changed much. I told myself that now that I'm in college I would stop procrastinating and turn in all my homework, essays, and projects in on time, etc. but I'm still doing it. lol. That means mine is only 2 years away. My two roommates I've known since youth group. We still bring up old stuff from "back when" and laugh about it just as we did when it was fresh and new. I think part of why, as "grown men", we still enjoy these things, is that it reminds us of a time with no debt (car payments, mortgage payments), where mom and dad paid for the gas for the car, and the food in the fridge. Fun times should never be forgotten, nor should they remain in a closed book. As a yearbook might read, "K.I.T."... Keep in touch with your youthful days and remember how they were, God gave us memories to be able to look back and enjoy some things over and over again. Keep it alive! Im only 17 years old, but i still recognize allot of your examples. FE: I realy like the hypes that were on years ago. Stuff like: SNES-games; that toy which we called a 'jojo' in the Netherlands; tamagotchi's (mine litteraly died cuz i accidentely left the poor machine out in the rain). And the music that was 'hot' in the 90ies, it still rocks! God bless ya KJ Wed, 07 May 2008 06:21:52 +0100 http://www.kj52.com/index.php?option=com_content"&"task=view"&"id=50"&"Itemid=#pc_754 i just graduated high skool and i can already agree with u on sum of that stuff. 4 instance, i can so vouch 4 the nickname part! with a name like mine, its hard enuf 2 meet ppl and them get it rite, well in tha sixth grade one of my teachers tried to pronounce it and it came out "Quayla" or sumthing to that effect. i also still have other nicknames from like tha eighth grade! i can also say that we never grow up... im eighteen and we went to crossover festival in missouri with my church in a church van and me and my lil buddy michael were banging his head up against tha window and scaring tha other drivers to death! it was hilarious, but i have to admit it, really immature... i was really upset when we got to crossover to find out that i wasn't gonna get 2 c u, kj! we got there a lil late cuz we had car trouble tha weather was killer... but i am def gonna come c u n concert sumtime soon! ;D Mon, 16 Jun 2008 10:13:08 +0100
