Christmas is too commercialized. I walked into Lowes the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I looked around at all the holiday displays and decorations and I felt sick to my stomach. This is not the reason to celebrate Christmas. So, we can all go and spend hours upon hours putting up all these decorations and lights and what not? Yes, they are pretty, but are they necessary? We need to all remember the real reason for the season... which is Christ. True he was born around Easter time, but we celebrate His birth on Christmas. I dislike shopping during the holidays also. Our kids loved it, (ages 15 and 11), and so did my husband and I. We got to talk to you and got your CD(love it) and you were so nice and signed your pic for our kids. This was honestly the first time I had heard of you (sorry!) and I loooved your show! It was so fun(Yep, this middle aged mom was "Puttin up 5 and puttin up 2", that's right!!!) and it was a really great family night for us. Thanks for letting our kids know, being a Christian is not boring! It is fun and you can have great music and be a Christian.
