Good stuff!

Man, both of these devos have really hit home for me...I think it's awesome how you can look at something that others may see as a daily thing, but you take it and turn it into what God wants you to see. Keep rockin' his T-shirt AND his word!!

This is really AWESOME. These devotionals have helped me a lot. The first one opened my eyes up not only to spiritual aspects of life ,but also my time on earth life. This one smacked right in the face. Now that i think about it i realize that certain people in the past were actually God trying to reach me ,but i didn't listen because i didn't recognize him. Like you said "We rock the t-shirt and everything else ,but we don't recognize God when he comes as a regular thing in our life. Kj i really would like to thank you so much for everything. Your music, blogs,Devotionals, and the time you take out of your life to do these things because you care. I can't tell you how glad I am for what God is doing through you. Your truly amazing. Well I will type later. Peace out smilies/tongue.gif smilies/grin.gif smilies/cheesy.gif smilies/wink.gif smilies/smiley.gif

KJ-
DUDE! Honestly...thank you!!! So so much for reading the word of God on your video and talkin bout the Lord =) Peoples opinions are awesome and wonderful but there is NOTHING as piercing and effectful as the WORD. He shows up in so so many different ways...i wanna be a full out, in love, kinda stalkerish but-not-so-freaky fan for the Lord =)Thanks for the realization.

Right on the Money
written by Trevor, August 14, 2008

KJ, what you said I can see in the world around me. I have quite a few friends who are what you described: go to church, wear Christian clothing, but they don't KNOW God. I recently decided that in college (2 years away) I want to study Youth Ministries. I want to be a Youth Pastor, so I've spent more time recently strengthening my relationship with God. So maybe I can help my friends see God when He is trying to reveal Himself to them!

By the way, I'm Trevor Ellison, 16, from Wisconsin, Junior in high school

Thanks

Awesome so much Truth to that!!!
written by Billy Tucker, August 29, 2008

I know as a fellow musician how that situation is. Once played a show in front of like 400-500 people and people bought t-shirts and cd's etc. next night me and the band were out on the town and people we saw and hung out with at the show etc. who even had our t shirts on. didn't even recognize us as we walked into the same place they were eating. lol.

I think it's interesting to point out in your video how you talk about how god wants to spend time with you etc. and then as soon as you clicked the video off it's frozen on a shot of your chair next to you being empty right next to you. as if God was even still telling You KJ. Hey you just talked to them about this and yet i am still knocking to spend some time with you, but yet your chair next to you is empty. heh. just a strong thought I had while writing this...

what's more important, the service to God, or God Himself?
written by gabrielle, September 02, 2008

it's an excellent point. we can go around telling people that we're christians, say what we believe, try to get other people to believe what we say we believe, but in the end...do you know Jesus personally, and are you led by him? can you hear that still small voice? you gotta be quiet long enough to hear Him. you gotta meditate on His word every day. i know from personal experience, that i have spent months, frontin' it, and was dead of that relationship with Jesus Christ. it takes personal discipline to get it. no pain, no gain. my pastor always says, get up an hour or more before you go to work, or school, or whatever you do, pray and read His word, to seek Him for that day. it's like manna. the day's refreshing won't work for the next day. and you can't get it for tomorrow. if i learned anything, it's never give up because you can still get your devotional life back, but you're gonna have to fight for it because the devil is gonna throw a fast ball. so better be ready. get on your knees and pray smilies/grin.gif

Even leaders need to sometimes
written by Allen, September 02, 2008

Man KJ i must say God never fails. He showed you something that is so true. Im a junior high youth leader and sometimes I need to stop and tell myself "You know the words to the christian music but when was the last time you read the bible." I dony know if you remember but you did a concert at my church years ago. Hallelujah Christian Fellowship in Las Vegas. I was in like middle school (sixth grade maybe),when i first heard your music and i been listening ever since. Im 19 about to be 20 in november and i think its great that you represent GOD like crazy. Me and my cousin are acually about to make a mix tape. We wanna share what God has done for us. Your one of my infuences. Thank You!!!
God Bless
