what up errrrbody? It’s kj back again w/ another installment of the kj blog.. all the wonderful thoughts, feelings and typo’s I can fit into one page… Where to begin? I’m sitting here typing on my kitchen counter (don’t ask why) as my son is taking a nap (hopefully a long one…) I’m feeling a lil French fried mentally and my nose is stuffed up (probably from the red-eye flight from Sacramento CA) but overall I’m good… Great weekend this week.. rocked a revolve tour date in Sacramento CA for about 8 thousand girls? Something like that.. either way it was crazy go-nuts (as Strongbad would say) .. shout out to all those that were there.. it was quite nice. I’m off for this week till Saturday, so I get a rare Friday @ home.. date night here we come.. maybe the wife and I can hire a babysitter and see a movie like normal people? Anyone down for the challenge of watching a very drooly, cute, bouncy baby boy? Well, I’ve been making notes on the last week of things I have observed in tweezy land.. like to hear it? Here it go.. Denny’s Restaurant: I’m convinced this is the only restaurant you go to where you can order an entire meal w/out ever saying a word.. Meaning next time you go there.. try just pointing @ the pictures and I GUARUNTEE you can order an entire meal and never make a sound… You can even point @ the stuff that you don’t want in the picture and by deduction they can figure out what you do and don’t want.. TRY IT… Small talk: Ok.. by nature I’m a bit on the quiet side when I go and buy stuff.. for me it’s like.. just hand me my groceries and don’t try and make small talk .. I have no problem w/ small talk etc. but I do have a problem w/ mandated small talk.. I.E. you’re standing in line and the cashier is like “so … are u watching the game tonight?” and I’m like “what game?” and there like… “uhhhhh.. you know… uhhh.. the game.” basically confirming the fact that upper management is forcing them to talk to the customers etc.. not like they really care about if.. LOL. Late night driving: So randomly my son decides to get up wide awake @ 2am ready to play.. this never happens so in order to get him to bed I stick him in the car and drive around my city for like an hr @ 2-4 am.. OH the things you see @ that time of night.. mainly trying to drive through McDonalds to get coffee and seeing the glazed over look in everyone’s eyes.. OH and why do they make convenience stores like 50 degrees cold when it’s that late????? Questions.. questions..questions… Naps: Pretty much the best thing ever… I mean is there really ever such thing as a bad nap? Just saying the word nap makes me feel rested … I think the world would be a better place if we all just pulled out mats (like we did in kindergarten) and posted up for a 2pm nap … the whole world just feels better after a nap. The office: I rarely watch tv but this show has got me addicted.. I’m sorry.. Steve Carrell is a comedic genius and the whole show has that uncomfortable humor thing going on.. I’m addicted. yep.. .and schrute beets look mighty tasty. Getting mad: wow.. I have a tendency to sometimes lose my cool when I sit there and stew about something.. case in point I got mad @ my band because I thought they had come up late for signing autograph’s @ the revolve tour.. turns out they were just breaking down there stuff… I’m an idiot sometimes … maybe it’s my Sicilian heritage that makes me so passionate and whatever .. ha ha .. but either way these guys are some of the best dudes ever (see pic)  the tweezy band Currently reading: I kings and 2 kings… love the stories of Elisha and Elijah and dudes like Hezekiah.. peep it out. written by Joseph, October 22, 2007 I heard of you at first because I started a Halo clan with the initials KJ, and I heard of you from a friend as well. I was just wonderin, when are you comin to New york City? My new theme song is plain white rapper, even though I am Colombian. I moved from the city to somewhere in the woods in Pennsylvania, and I am considered "not normal" up here by the other kids, but that fine cause some of my friends up here came to Christ. The interesting thing is, all my friends up here used to hate each other. Now that aint the case. I still go to the city every weekend, so I get a sample of the city every week. Sadly, no one plays basketball up here. On the matter of TV shows, check out Stargate. If you wanna buy the last ten years of the show, make sure you watch the pilot with someone whos seen it before so cause the pilot is no so great, but important because it is the bridge between the series and the movie. Besides that, the series is great. Life was weird when I moved up here, but now it seems better than normal. On losin ya cool, I got the same issue, but I do it less and less by simply being patient with my three younger brothers. If you get roughly four boys or somethin like that, you will be forced to learn patience. Trust me it works. My three brothers can dish out a lot to get me to lose my temper. Just live and learn. Where is it you live? I was just wonderin. See ya around sometime. Also, I hate qutographs unless I peronally know the guy, like Mariano Rivera. He is awesome. Panamanian is Colombian, also I went to the same church as him. Also, my dad, a Red Sox fan, (He is from Boston), told Mariano that he is from a boston and is a Red Sox fan. Rivera laughed, and then my dad recongized him. That is how their friendship began. Hope I can see you in concert someday, more than that, get to know you as a human being, not some semi-famous dude. You carry some really meaningful songs along with the fun stuff they like!!! I have a 14 yr old daughter who introduced me to your music after the SAC Revolve Tour in 2006 and now my 7 yr old and I listen to your music ALL THE TIME!!! I even got the opportunity to attend the SAC Tour w/ her this past week-end and I had a blast!!! I look forward to seeing you perform next year!! CONGRATS on your new baby boy. From what I've seen and heard of you, you are going to be a terrific daddy!! ABSORB the first couple of years of fatherhood especially!!! In my opinion these are the BEST!!! That was the thing that would ALWAYS work to get my kids back to sleep when they were babies. Best thing ever! I LOVE naps too. Naps are great and I think everyone should have to take one EVERYDAY! When they start knowing my name or stuff like that I ahve a tendency to avoid the employee or the store. I just want to go in and out, no questions asked, completely quiet. Well, atleast you don't have any cashiers writing "Will you go out with me?" on the back of your receipt. lol Naps, mmmm, sounds good right now. I take one everyday I don't have school or church. Which amounts to about one day. lol Any yes, I've always noticed that people who are passionate about something they get mad quicker. For me, I can get mad and be pretty scary. My mom told someone I'm the quietest out of my sisters but when I get mad I'm not so quiet. Although I get mad about once or twice in a while.
