Capt. Bloggeroni to the rescue...

Whats up peoples in cyberspace land?

Capt. bloggeroni here to save the world and bring you on more installation on the kj52 blog... just came back literally from doing a sermon/testimony @ "The Gamut" its a relaxed, informal spot where college aged kids can get info from on life situations etc..

I'm not really doing it justice describing it... just go and listen to my podcast @ kj52.libsyn.com and you can hear it etc.. I've been gone since Friday in Atlanta/Louisiana  for a revolve date along w/ a one-off show ... IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND.  Everythign was so on point it was ridiculous.. i had such a great time overall and was really blown away w/ how well things came together.

My son has grown literally by leaps in bounds in the last 2 weeks.. he's literally pulling himself up to standing (@ 6th months!) it's made him so much more a handfull to watch after but its really a great age for him to be @ ... I'm having a blast even if he's scaring me to death climbing/scooting around.

I head out for the superchick xmas tour this week.. we're gonna be video taping/blogging possibly every day a while were out there for 5 days (myself, dj x and infamous) ... this is the first tour I've done w/out the band (just a dj and a hypeman) so it should be interesting...

Anyway w/out any further ado.. here is my observizzles from this week..

Group one/lecrae:

I love these guys/girl .. .we all rocked a show this Sunday together and it was great just hanging out backstage.. watching them perform etc.. just being a fan etc... It gives me hope for this genre and where we are going.  I remember meeting both of these groups/artists/ when they were in there infant stages of starting out  and to see them now getting platforms to do what they are doing is an awesome thing.  At the end of the day we have different approaches but the same goal and it's great to see how guys uses our own bent to accomplish his purposes... much props to them.

Phill Collins:

This may sound dumb but phil collins got some dope music... dang I can't believe I said that.

Atlanta GA/Lafayette LA:

These spots are the real south I'm convinced.. Florida is like a bootleg south.. there is this southern vibe in these cities that really lends itself to polite/friendly people I.e. southern hospitality... it's the real deal!  I think everyone in Florida could take a note.. not that I dont love Florida.. I really do!  It's just that we sort of lack that southern "niceness" that these other spots got... Oh and cajun food is the bomb.com.. i had the best pecan pie backstage @ the Sunday show... hello!

Michael JR:

This dude is hilarious.. he hosted the event we did... peep him out @ www.michaeljr.com

-till next week..

Weekend
written by Andrea Nishelle, December 04, 2007

Hey KJ. My weekend was a drag. Friday I woke up with a sore throat and couldn't talk. When I did talk I sounded like a dude. LOL. I went to school none the less. Well, after school I worked on my car, 1980 Ford Mustang. I had to get the break lines off. It was raining and muddy so I decided to have fun under the car. I rolled all around and got muddy and cold, went in and took a shower and then back out side I went. Saturday I went to the doctors and he told me I cought Strep throat. Just my luck LOL. most likely my fault tho. Sunday I tore my tranny out and put a new one in while it was raining/snowing. So I got more sick. Stayed home from school yesterday and forgot to take my antidepressant. I didn't know I did so until we were playing a family card game and I cried for no reason and I couldn't stop. So I went upstairs and sat in bed wondering what was worng. Then thoughts hit me...depression thoughts. What if I could be immortal? Like be untouchable, then I could do all those things and not get hurt. But the buzz would still be there. Oh well, I popped in your CD that my friend Anthony gave me and I started to smile and laugh. So I would like to thank you for being a great artist and for the lyrics you put into your music. Congrats on your son walking, and for having an awesome weekend. Well, If you wouldn't mind I would like to here from you. There is so much I want/need to tell you. Your fan, Andrea Nishelle

written by Kim from South Carolina, December 05, 2007

Hey KJ. South Carolina has a lot of very friendly people too. Charleston was rated the friendliest city in the country five times in a row a few years back. Come visit us here in South Carolina, it would be great to see you in concert.

Have a great week.

S.A.D.
written by Richard Sorrentino, December 05, 2007

Seasonal Affective Disorder S.A.D. is a common experience for people this time of year. I just wanted to thank you for reaching out to so many people while you recognize the human condition. It is helpful, and we are all blessed by your being here.
